I was going to buy this product, it seemed like nice leather cover, then, I looked at all the photos and noticed that this product has leather pockets on the inside instead of the outside. That is just a dumb design mistake. Even if one does not fill the pockets with junk, the pocket will undoubtedly scratch the surface of the iPad when the lid is closed. Can’t even begin to imagine what would happen if you were to fill those pockets with stuff as it is shown on the pictures. Sure, you can stick one of those clear thin plastic layers to the iPad glass but then the layer itself will get scratched and may need to be replaced often. The only thing I can suggest to fix the problem is to buy a small 8×10 soft cloth and insert it in between the glass and the cover. Then you can use the cloth to clean the iPad, better yet, the cloth should be included by the manufacturer.

For the most part, this is a great case. Except for the design. There is nothing that secures your iPad on the top, so, if you pick it up upside down, your iPad slides out, hit’s the ground and breaks, cracks, etc. If you paid $500 or more, ($829 in my case) for your iPad, choose a better case than this one to protect it!!!!!!

Yeah I have had this case for about 3 weeks. I have a screen protector on my ipad as well. I kept wondering why there was a black rectangular imprint on my ipad screen. Then a friend asked me why I used the case when paper holder was obviously giving the imprint on my ipad screen. Of course I realized the case gave that perfect rectangular imprint. If they redesign the case without the paper/card/whatever holder…then this would be perfect. But a holder that leaves an ugly dark mark on your ipad’s screen kills the resolution and makes for a what could be cheap and great product to something that is not worthy. Now I have to buy a new screen protector and a new case. So you can buy this case…just never close the case and you will be fine…which obviously defeats the whole purpose of buying the case. Most of the ipad products(even the apps) are in their inception stage, so I guess we will have to give feedback until they correct them. I am glad that apple has read the iBooks concerns and fixed their pdf issue. Hopefully the good people at Casecrown will do the same and remove the inner lining that leaves dark marks on your ipad screen.
