This leather case is very nice–good quality at a great price. I placed the iPad & case into a Built NY sleeve Built Netbook Laptop Sleeve 7-10-Inch, French Bull Shadow Flower. It fits perfectly (snug, doesn’t move around). The sleeve provides an extra layer of protection and I love the Shadow Flower design. A perfect pairing!

This case is only $10? Are u kidding me? It’s a wonderful case, that turns into a stand. And it’s well padded, to protect the ipad. I walked into local Apple Store with my ipad in this case, and, all the employees huddled around raving about the case. How thick and supportive it was. The stand. The value. They showed me their $39.99 Ipad case, and, all came to a conclusion that, not only was this case better, but, for $10 (I paid $15 for it last week), it’s a steal.
BUY THIS CASE NOW if you own an ipad.

I like this case but the inside cover has three pockets. One is obviously for a business card or ID card. The other two are small, about 1-3/4″ x 1-1/4″ each has what looks like are thumb holes. You can see them in the product photos. I must be stupid. I can’t figure out what their purpose is. Can someone please tell me what the heck these two pockets are for?

This “professionally designed” case is just frightening.
It is NOT leather, but cheap vinyl with a noxious stench that gave me and others around me headaches.
The other reviewers are correct that the magnets interfere with the compass and the case blocks the light sensor.
Nice idea, cheap and shoddy execution.

Since I ordered this “generic” case before I had even seen an iPad, I was not sure what I needed! This seemed to be the best choice in the under $25 category. I wanted a case that would close to protect the iPad in a purse or carry-all and would also act as a stand as I already have the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. Delivery for the Case was within 5 business days, arriving today. (The pre-ordered iPad arrived on April 30th as promised). Now this item is available via Amazon Prime and is a few dollars less.
The thin leather is not all bad as the case weighs just under 9 ounces, making the less than feather-weight 3G iPad not too much heavier. The horizonal, landscape stand seems adequate, but the vertical approach is too much like expecting a book with a somewhat flimsy front cover to remain open while upright. All in all I feel that I made the right choice, at least for the short term. The iPad probably will rate a more luxurious case in the future.
