I ordered this despite knowing about the glue issues, hoping I could luck out, or that it wouldn’t be that bad. Unfortunately, I did get stuck with the gluey corners. I’m not sure if I should keep it or give up. I know the company will replace the feet, but the glue also smeared onto the inside of the case somewhat. If it can’t be cleaned or remains sticky, the new feet only go so far.
It seems like a nice case, although I’m currently afraid to put the iPad in it due to the glue inside.
It’s nice that the company is replacing the feet. On the other hand, glue that doesn’t glue seems like a huge issue to miss.

I also have the pink one of these. The gold is prettier than the picture, and they both looks awesome in the sun. I really love the way that the case feels solid around my iPad. The rubber feet had some glue issues, but Hard Candy replaced them for free. They have awesome customer service. I’d totally recommend this case to anyone looking for some good-looking, solid protection for their iPad.

I pre-ordered my Bubble Sleeve in green (it’s a bright gold-ish, green color) from Hard Candy Cases before my iPad was available. I ended up getting it right before my iPad, and was excited to try it out. The color is really cool and different, and the case seemed really sturdy. Once I got my iPad, I put it inside, and it fit like a glove! It has an extra bubbly, soft inside that is against the screen (the super-soft fabric ensures that it won’t scratch the glass, and bubbles give extra-padded protection).
Honestly, I’m not the most cautious with my tech products since I run around so much and just throw them in my bag (you should see my former laptop – yikes!), but with my new shell, I feel like I can basically throw it in my bag, and it will still be okay. It’s super-easy to take out of the sleeve when I want to use my iPad, and I can zipper it up and be on my way when I’m done.
Overall – love this product, and will definitely try out other products from Hard Candy Cases. Love the style and protection they offer for my iPad!

I had pre-ordered my bubble case, and received the green unit with the same glue issue on the rubber feet inserts others have commented on. Basically the glue between the feet and their velcro layer would not dry.
Customer support was great.
They sent me a replacement case, and a prepaid UPS label to send back the defective unit. The glue problem was a known issue and the rubber feet now have the velcro sewed on to them.
That being said, the new case is great. Solid protection for the iPad without alot of weight or bulk, which is what I was looking for. I have no problem tossing it around the living room, or into the trunk of my motorcycle. Build quality is high and the case looks sharp. The rubber feet inserts also have a little wiggle room to move in the case (maybe 1/8′th inch in both dimensions). So an iPad with a thin case or shell could fit inside the bubble case if needed.
The case also folds in half pretty well if you don’t want to remove the iPad for on-couch lap usage, but I think the case is better suited for use as a storage or transportation container. You’ll want to take the iPad out for any extended usage.

The item arrived alright but with a little defect. The rubber bumpers are held on with velcro. The velcro is glued to the rubber bumper with a substance that I think they intended to be glue. IT unfortunately resembles a similar substance that drains from my 6 years olds nose during the wither months. Although I paid a high price for this product I would rather fix it right then send it back and wait through the butt pain of the return process to get a product back with the same crappy glue. So if you want to pay 50 some odd bucks to receive this product only to remove snotty glue and fix it right feel free. I would look at another product instead. Like I said good Idea bad freakin glue.
Oh, for the others that have the same problem, remove snot with lemon juice, use 1 cent worth of hot glue. Look it works.
